I had a 24 hour layover in Dubai, so I met my friend Colin and saw some of the city. We drove by the world’s tallest building, the Berj Khalifa, even though it was closed to visitors at the time.

Thank you for sharing this. We just finished studying famous skyscrapers & monuments in school this week, and seeing the skyline of Dubai gives lots of context for the pictures we watched.
Youtube also has clips of the fireworks display when they dedicated the building. Last week people got stuck on an elevator 124 floors up.
